Lara Trump’s Latest Music Collab Has People Cringing

After hearing Lara Trump’s music several years ago, many critics were hoping that Lara Trump would give up on her music career. A viral video suggests that she has no plans to do so. In January 2026, a video of Lara, who is married to President Donald Trump’s son Eric, started circulating on social media, and people think she should be embarrassed.

In the video, Lara, 43, dances alongside Egyptian rap star Mohamed Ramadan. According to the Daily Beast and RadarOnline, the video was actually recorded back in September 2025 as part of Mohamed and Lara’s unexpected music collab.

On social media, people have lots of questions.

On X, Republicans against Trump shared the video with a simple caption: “What’s Lara Trump doing?” In the comments, people shared their theories. “Embarrassing herself as usual,” one person said. Someone else said, “Attempting to dance & look cool. Failing miserably.”

Another even harsher critic said, “she is using her access to the most damaging, pathetically ruthless, disgusting and corrupt administration in US history to cosplay being a 43 year old teen pop star.” Others couldn’t help but see the music collab as directly related to the Trump family’s grifting, with one person writing that Lara seems to be “enjoying the billions that her family has grifted from MAGA.”

People aren’t sure what’s worse — Lara’s singing or her dancing.

When Lara released a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” in 2023, critics were not impressed. Later, she collaborated with singer Madeline Jaymes to release “Hero” in honor of firefighters. In response to that song, one critic wrote, “Someone who cares about Lara needs to be honest and tell her she can’t sing,” per The Independent. But some people actually think her dancing might be worse. “I didn’t think there could be anything worse than Lara Trump singing… but I was wrong,” another X user captioned the video of Lara and Mohamed dancing. Someone else commented, “I seriously don’t understand why she isn’t embarrassed.”

Mohamed teased the collab back in September, writing that he had the “best workday with [Lara] and her daughter.” In October, he wished her a happy birthday on Instagram. “Wishing you endless happiness, success, and good health in all that you do in your work, with your beautiful family, and for the great nation you represent,” he wrote. “May your year ahead be filled with joy and accomplishment. ❤️🎂”

The unexpected duo’s collaborative track, “Sah-Sah,” is slated for release on January 23, according to the Daily Beast.
