Pamela Anderson is having a renaissance or as she puts it a “redemption.” The former '90s "it" girl is telling her side of the story these days through her memoir, Pamela, a Love Story and Hulu documentary, Love, Pamela. This led to many collaborations with brands such as Proenza Schouler and Smashbox Cosmetics. She also cofounded a minimalist skin care brand, Sonsie, and created a line of clothing with RE/DONE.
Pamela sat down with Nylon magazine to talk about her inspiration for her new clothing line. During the interview, she also opened up about her take on the 2024 presidential election. It’s fair to assume former President Donald Trump will not be receiving her vote or endorsement.
Pamela revealed before every interview she takes notes about what she wants to say. This time around, she included politics. She read her notes to her interviewer, Sophia June.
“Then I started rambling about the election, and how as a woman, I will never vote for a sexual predator,” Pamela stated. “As a woman who’s gone through a lot in her life and suffered abuse, I can’t imagine anybody who cares for women who could.”
Pamela opened up in her memoir and documentary about how she was sexually abused multiple times in her life. The abuse began in her childhood.
Pamela then goes on to endorse President Joe Biden, but she never mentions him by name. “I’m kind of swooning over the elderly gentlemen that just crushed it last night at the State of the Union,” she went on to say. “We love an older gentleman who is top of his game. I think it’s a good thing.”

The interview was not supposed to be about politics, but Pamela felt compelled to share her truth. “I hate to talk about politics, but anyway, there I did,” she mused. “I’m a radical over here [talking about it]. I mean jeez, it’s such a simple thing.”
