Priscilla Beaulieu first met 24-year-old pop star Elvis Presley when she was just 14 years old and he was serving in the US Army in Germany. The pair were married in 1967 in Las Vegas, making her officially a Presley. The following year Lisa Marie Presley was born, and in 1973 the couple divorced. Lisa Marie was the sole heir to Elvis’ estate, but her 2023 death caused tension in the succession.
Priscilla contested a 2016 amendment to the will of Lisa Marie removing Priscilla as a co-trustee and listing her grandchildren instead. She and granddaughter Riley Keough recently reached an agreement settling the matter. Priscilla opened up about it on a recent appearance on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored.
As part of the settlement, upon Priscilla’s death she will be buried near Elvis just like she requested. “My feelings [about being buried at Graceland] are great,” she stated. “That’s, you know, what I want and wanted.”
She will not be directly next to him because his body is buried between his father and grandmother but will be as close as possible in the meditation garden. Lisa Marie and her son Benjamin Keough were buried there as well, just across the way near a fountain.
Although Priscilla and Elvis divorced, they never stopped loving each other. “Elvis was… I’ve never met anyone like him and I don’t think I ever will again, ever,” Priscilla gushed. “He had the biggest heart. He had a great sense of humor. He had a lot of love.”

The settlement also gives Priscilla a $1 million lump-sum payment and $100,000 per year for her role as special advisor to Elvis Presley Enterprises. Riley will continue her grandfather’s legacy by running Graceland and manage her 15-year-old half-sisters Harper and Finley Lockwood’s sub-trusts until they are older. Priscilla is happy to help her granddaughter with this.
“I think Riley will be great. She has asked me a few things about what to do, and we’ll talk,” Priscilla explained. “I want to help her with Graceland. I mean, she has her own career as well and doing so well with her career. She’s so talented.”
