Man Was Shouting Racial And Homophobic Slurs At In-N-Out Burger So Someone Started Filming

Being racist is not a good character trait. In my mind, there are literally zero reasons for people to be racist. It’s rude, it’s arrogant, and it’s just not OK. If you have experienced someone being racist in public, you know it’s difficult to keep your anger in check. Seeing someone being racist in public and getting caught on camera is karma showing her beautiful face.

Inside Edition shared a video on its YouTube channel of a man being racist to two people at an In-N-Out Burger in San Ramon, California. Arine Kim and her friend Elliot were casually eating their food when they were suddenly attacked with racist and homophobic slurs by another customer.

As the video clip shows, at first Arine and Elliot uncomfortably laugh after the customer asks, “Are you filming yourselves eating?” to which they reply, “Yeah.” Instead of saying OK and walking on like a normal person, the man instead says, “You’re weird homosexuals.” Which doesn’t make any sense at all.

The man then asks Elliot if he is Japanese or Korean, and Elliot tells him that he is Korean. The man then says, “Yeah, Korean, that’s what I thought. You’re Kim Jong Un’s boyfriend, huh?” Trying to keep the atmosphere as light as possible, Elliot tells the man, “You know, we have been acquainted.”

Elliot and the man go back and forth for a few more seconds, but then Arine realizes that the situation is escalating and tells Elliot to stop. The man then tells them normally he would spit in their face, and to put this in a somewhat more appropriate manner, the man follows his rude comment by saying that being gay is some Filipino “stuff.”

Arine and Elliot didn’t leave until they felt safe. The video was shared on social media and instantly got millions of views. The video even caught the eye of San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson, who said that this guy sounded like a man they have been looking for. Later, 40-year-old Jordan Douglas Krah was arrested for violating California’s hate crime law.

Justice was definitely served. There is no reason for people to still be acting like this toward others. Hopefully, Krah has learned his lesson.
