Woman’s Racist Rant After Payment Is Declined At Santa Barbara Restaurant Caught On Video

An astounding interaction was just caught on video at a Santa Barbara restaurant. It happened after a woman, who was involved in an altercation with a restaurant manager over a declined payment, became enraged.

The unnamed woman's ID had been confiscated due to not paying her check, and she was lashing out at the employee. “It was paid, though, ma’am, and you rejected the payment,” she can be heard saying in the clip. When the angry woman noticed she was being filmed, the situation escalated. She began slinging racist comments at the man who was doing the filming.

“Excuse me, sir. Hi, one of four black people in Santa Barbara,” she raged. “Oh, now I’m a racist, terrible person, sorry, just because you’re an obnoxious guy. It’s not your fault that you’re Black, of course. Just obnoxious.”

The man filming was the restaurant's DJ. He posted the entire interaction on his Instagram page. “Sooo this just happened @sb_boathouse, Santa Barbra needs to do better. Almost lost my [expletive],” 39-year-old Ian Soleimani wrote in the caption.

The woman's comments just keep getting worse in the video. She seems to be purposefully antagonizing the man, as if she's trying to get him to react. "Are you sending it to the FBI after this?” she questioned. “I might go psychotic pretty soon. I’m probably going to, I’m probably going to get very violent pretty soon, I’m glad you’re here.”

Then she referenced his race again. “Don’t you have some fish to catch, African American man?” she raged. “Don’t you want to go on the boat and do some African American fishing?”

The woman was given back her ID and barred from the restaurant. But the worst punishment for her inexcusable hostility and racially charged comments came later. The video has since gone mega-viral, and it's not unlikely that, now, she has a few regrets about the whole interaction.
