Robin Wright, one of the most beautiful and intriguing women of all time, made a wild reveal about her personal life. While Robin has been in Hollywood for decades and has been around all kinds of confident and interesting men, she says not one of them ever asked her out. In fact, she says she'd never been asked on a date in her entire life until she met Ben Foster in 2011.
It's totally bonkers, but Robin says it's true. The couple met while working on the set of the film Rampart. She says there were sparks everywhere and that Ben properly asked her out, taking her to a poetry recital for their first date.

"I'd never, ever been asked out on a date before," she told The Telegraph. "Never. I was frickin' married my whole life, and even before that I hadn't been asked out."
Early in her career, Robin was briefly married to fellow soap opera actor Dane Witherspoon, from 1984 to 1986. She started dating actor Sean Penn in 1989, and they married in 1996. After many ups and downs, they finalized their divorce in 2010.
Robin and Ben fell for one another quickly. Shortly after they started dating, their relationship went public. In early 2012, they were spotted canoodling while in Australia together. Photographers captured him kissing her hand and her touching his face. They appeared madly in love.
That first date must've been pretty magical. By 2014, the couple had announced their engagement. Robin showed off her engagement ring at the Golden Globes that January. It was a big night for Robin, who won an award for her performance in House of Cards.
Robin and Ben seemed truly committed for life. They got tiny tattoos — the first letter of one another's names on their ring fingers — instead of wedding rings.
"I've been so anti-tattoos my whole life," she said. "But doing this felt right because we're not that traditional."
Robin shared openly that she had never been happier. Ben seemed to be the man who stepped up for her in all the right ways, starting with being the man who asked her on a date for the very first time. In 2015, she shared with Vanity Fair that he was her perfect match.
"I've never been happier in my life than I am today," she told the outlet. "Perhaps it's not ladylike [to say], but I've never laughed more, read more, or come more than with Ben."
"He inspires me to be the best of myself," she continued. "There's so much to learn. It's endless. How great! It took me a long time to grow up. Love is possible as life is possible."
While it seemed like Robin and Ben were in it for the long haul, sadly the couple parted ways. In August of 2015, their relationship was officially over.
Ben later married actress Laura Prepon. They have two children together. Robin moved on, as well, marrying Clément Giraudet, an executive for fashion house Saint Laurent, in 2018.
