Despite rumors that his SiriusXM radio show might be canceled, Howard Stern hasn’t lost his gig. But before addressing the rumors, Howard decided to pull a prank on his fans. Afterward, Roseanne Barr took to X to criticize Howard for “shilling for fascists and pro cancel culture.”
On Monday, September 8, Howard collaborated with Andy Cohen to make it seem like Andy would be replacing him. “This is not the voice you probably wanted to hear, but it is I, Andy Cohen, and this is our first day broadcasting on Channel 100,” Andy said. “Andy 100 is what it’s being referred to around Sirius for the last few days. I know that you’re expecting a big announcement from Howard, and this is not how things were meant to go. There’s been a lot of talk about what’s going to happen with Howard’s deal. Is he fired? I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say, except that he’s not here and I am.”
However, Howard later returned to the air and admitted that the whole thing was a prank. He also addressed an image that had been shared by Roseanne. Amid rumors that Howard’s show would get canceled, the altered image showed Howard with Stephen Colbert, whose show was recently canceled. Both men were wearing bikinis in the image.

Howard addressed the picture, adding that he didn’t realize he “was on Roseanne’s list.” He said, “She posted a picture of me with Stephen Colbert in bikinis as women. Because I guess we’re big p—ies. We don’t think politically the way she does, and she’s real macho. What a f–king weirdo that one was.”
He also called her “braindead” and said she’s “gone mad.” Afterward, Roseanne took to X to slam Howard. “Howard Stern still having a hard time realizing he is a p—y now,” she wrote. “Maybe one day before he really quits he will realize where he went wrong shilling for fascists and pro cancel culture He used to be a bastion of free speech and now he’s a shill.”

In spite of the apparent feud, Roseanne also defended Howard when someone else joined in on criticizing him. In response to Roseanne, someone wrote, “He always sucked, but now he is p—y who also sucks.” On some level, Roseanne disagreed with this take. “To be fair — Howard Stern is still the greatest who ever did it,” she wrote back. “He is all the faces of radio Mt. Rushmore. But still; he’s a boot licking p—y now. They got to him. They will never get to me.”
In 2024, Howard said he has “no respect” for people who voted for President Donald Trump and thinks “they’re stupid.” He added that he does not “hate” the president, but doesn’t “agree with Trump politically.”
