Few kids want to see their parents portrayed in any type of erotic scene. Sarah Jessica Parker's 20-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, recently opened up about why he hasn't been able to watch And Just Like That…. and Sex and the City. And he has good reason.
James shared with Entertainment Tonight that he tried to watch the show. “I tried to watch the new one and I liked it but then I felt weird, because I haven’t watched the original,” he shared. “It felt a little weird to be watching the newer one having not watched it, even if it’s accessible.”
“I guess it’s kind of obvious why maybe I hadn’t watched the original show as a kid," he added. In fact, he wasn't even born at the time the first season premiered 1998.

“But now I don’t really have an excuse,” he continued. “People ask like, ‘Oh, is that awkward for you? There’s like a lot of [risqué] scenes.’ That’s not that big of a deal for me. I think I just was a little too young before.”
