Gisele Bündchen Is Becoming Very Close With Jiujitsu Pro And Vacay Pal Joaquim Valente

Newly single Gisele Bündchen has been spending a lot of time with her jiujitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.

The two were recently spotted working out on vacation in Costa Rica, and this isn’t the first time they’ve gone to the tropical haven together. A source who is close to Gisele, 42, told People that the supermodel shares a tight bond with the trainer, but she isn’t rushing into calling the relationship anything official just yet.

"Gisele adores and trusts [Joaquim] and has been spending a lot of time with him,” the anonymous source told the outlet. “But I don't think it's a traditional dating scenario," the insider added.

"They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids," the source said.

"Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table," the source added.

The model and mom of two finalized her divorce from football star Tom Brady in late October 2022. She was first seen vacationing with trainer Joachim in Costa Rica along with her two kids, Benjamin Rein, 12, and Vivian Lake, 9, about two weeks after the divorce was official.

The two were most recently spotted working out together, with Gisele wearing an olive green running set and Joachim in a light blue T-shirt and black running shorts.

This outing was shortly before the entrepreneur’s ex-husband, Tom, had a devastating loss at Sunday night’s NFL game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was eliminated from the playoffs and from his chance of getting another Super Bowl ring this year.

The source also told People that Gisele loves visiting Costa Rica and is doing really well lately.

Another insider close to the star told the outlet that she is "focused on her kids, her health and work.”

"She had a wonderful Christmas in Brazil. It was the perfect trip. She feels excited and hopeful about the new year," the second source revealed.

The supermodel's last year has seen her in many headlines following and leading up to the high-profile divorce from Brady. The football star also made headlines for abruptly coming back from retirement and struggling to maintain his reputation on the field.

The second source close to the model, however, says she is ready to take on the new year.

"Last year was rough, but she is confident that things will just keep going up from here. She has no regrets. She wishes Tom the best, but is confident that the divorce was the right option," the source told People.
