Trump Edits Himself Into Mount Rushmore In A Horrifying Rendition Of The Monument

Apparently, when Mount Rushmore was carved in the early 1900’s, someone had the foresight to leave a space open for Donald Trump on the end of the carving. No, really, that’s what Trump seems to believe, because he posted an edited photo of the monument on Truth Social. In the photo, he is edited into the mountain on the end as one of the apparently all important founders of the United States.

Someone posted the Truth Social post on X and joked, “If this ever happens I’ll livestream me blowing it up with dynamite.” Of course no one really expects it to ever happen. Then again, no one thought Trump would tear out a portion of the White House, slap his name on the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, or waste millions of dollars on a failed attempt at renovating the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool either.

The Mount Rushmore edit is scary for some.

In the edited photo, you see the old gang: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. And there, on the end of the mountainside, is Trump. It’s also all encrusted in gold, and appears to be some sort of statue rendering rather than an actual rendering of what Trump would look like if someone carved out the mountain to include him on Mount Rushmore.

However, the idea of Trump inserting himself there, even through a statue or small monument that you can set on your desk as a paperweight, is frightening.

“Good news if this ever happens America is officially dead you wouldn’t need to do it lol,” someone responded to the X post with the joke about blowing it up.

Another wrote, “The entire point of a monument is for other people to celebrate the person being honored. Never before in our nation’s history had one man honored HIMSELF so blatantly. He has no shame, so he’s not embarrassed like any other normal person would be.”

“That motherf–ker loves putting his name on other s–t so you never know,” someone else replied to the X post.

Elsewhere, on Reddit, users shared similar thoughts on Trump sharing that image. Even the idea of it screams narcissist for many, and they aren’t afraid to admit that.

“Putting his name on s–t is all he’s ever done…all he knows how to do,” a Reddit user wrote. “He thinks it makes him special. Reality is it just makes him incredibly pathetic.”

Another Redditor commented, “Satire is dead. There’s simply no way to be more ridiculous than reality at this point.”

Critics made other edits of Mount Rushmore involving Trump.

In the comments under the X post, users took the opportunity to make their own edits of Mount Rushmore. For them, the idea of Trump ever being added to it is pretty hard to imagine. But editing Trump in with terrible facial expressions or next to the likes of Jeffrey Epstein is a little more palatable. One person even took Trump’s gold statue edit and added an image of Trump asleep in his Oval Office chair. If that isn’t what social media is all about, then I don’t know what is.

Trump isn’t afraid to make big changes as the president.

Trump might be known to some as the president to make America great again two times over. To others, he is known as someone who changes things at the drop of a hat, regardless of how important policies or landmarks were to the U.S. prior to him ever being in office. During his second term, he paved over a large portion of the Rose Garden to create a patio that looks like it was taken straight out of Mar-A-Lago.

He also demolished the East Wing to make room for an elaborate ballroom, and he had two large flagpoles installed outside of the White House. He also incorporated tons of gauche gold into the decor inside and outside of the house. Where does it end? Honestly, who can say at this point?
