We all have irrational fears that might be kind of embarrassing to admit to having. One former White House aide is airing President Donald Trump’s fears for the world to know. Cassidy Hutchinson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 4, 2023. She spoke about her experiences in the White House.
Cassidy worked as an assistant to then-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. She testified in front of Congress during the hearings about the January 6 insurrection, gaining notoriety. She wrote a memoir about her experiences entitled Enough, which was published in September 2023.
“He does have a very potent fear of being poisoned,” Cassidy explained. “So he uses and prefers the small Heinz glass ketchup bottles, because he likes to hear his valet or whoever’s serving him his meal, he likes to hear the ‘pop.’”
The subject came up because Jimmy referenced her testimony. She was describing what happened in the White House on January 6, 2021. “I first noticed there was ketchup dripping down the wall, and there was a shattered porcelain plate,” she began.

“The valet had articulated that the president was extremely angry at the attorney general’s interview and had thrown his lunch against the wall, which was causing them to have to clean up,” she continued. “So I grabbed a towel and started wiping the ketchup off the wall to help the valet out.”
It was not easy for Cassidy to testify but she believed it was the right thing to do. She had to lay low and leave Washington, DC, for safety concerns but is now back in the public eye to promote her book.
