What to Know
We’re nearly a year into President Donald Trump’s second term, and he continues to sell and promote new merch. Understandably, the way his family continues to sell a wide range of products has raised ethical concerns, and the Trump family has been accused of “grifting” on multiple occasions.
Now, with the holidays approaching, the Trump campaign store has launched a holiday line, and has promoted discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, it’s unclear whether the items in the shop were truly discounted based on a recent report.
Reports suggest that the discounted prices were higher than the original prices.
According to reports from Meidas News and The Independent, Trump supporters who took advantage of the Trump Store’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts might not have been getting the best deals. The publications reported that on November 28, the Trump team sent out an email to subscribers claiming that Trump “decided to reduce the price of his iconic Red MAGA Hat Ornament to just $37!” The reason? Because his team was “feeling extra thankful for all of President Trump’s supporters today.”
The email also reportedly stated, “We’re making America the greatest country in the world, all thanks to you.” Which is an interesting sales pitch to try to get people to purchase a Trump-themed Christmas ornament. The email appeared to come from Trump National Committee JFC.
Although the MAGA hat ornament was apparently on sale for $37, it’s actually listed for $30 on the website.

Supporters received a similar email about calendars.
Per Meidas News, a very similar promotional email offered a “new low price from Trump” because the team was once again “feeling extra thankful.” That time, the email claimed that people could purchase a MAGA 2026 Calendar for $32. But on the website, the calendar is listed for $25.

On Trump’s website, there’s also a pop-up that encourages everyone to visit the campaign merch store to stock up on holiday items. “WAIT! Get ahead on your MAGA Christmas Shopping! Check out my MAGA CHRISTMAS MERCH SALE happening right now,” the pop-up reads. In addition to the ornament and calendar, the holiday collection includes MAGA wrapping paper, red MAGA hats decorated with holiday lights and Christmas trees, and Christmas mugs with Trump’s face on them, among other Christmas-themed products.
The Trump Store, which is the official retail website of The Trump Organization (currently managed by Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric), also has a holiday collection. Interestingly, a similar-looking MAGA hat ornament (but glass and “hand-painted) will set you back $92 if you purchase it from the Trump Store.
