President Donald Trump just can’t seem to escape rumors about his relationship with White House aide Natalie Harp. It might be because their relationship sounds very… unconventional, to put it lightly. Previous reports have claimed that Harp has written Trump letters that say things like, “You are all that matters to me,” which definitely doesn’t seem like a normal work relationship in any way.
The rumors started to escalate after the 80-year-old president and his 34-year-old assistant were spotted enjoying each other’s company at the Trump National Golf Club on Sunday, June 28.
Some people have speculated that Trump could be having an affair.

It seems like this is their assumption because of how close he seems to the 34-year-old and how much time they appear to spend together. Plus, it doesn’t help that various reports have made it sound like Harp is totally obsessed with the president.
So, some critics on social media are clearly suspicious. “Everything about this is gross,” one person wrote on X. “I wonder how Melania feels about this one,” another critic commented.
However, other people have speculated that their close relationship has more to do with Trump’s old age.

Though the affair rumors have definitely gotten a lot of attention, another theory has also emerged on social media: Harp could be spending so much time around her boss to help take care of him in his old age.
“I think she is a personal aide,” one person wrote on X. “It is highly irregular, but then everything about this administration fits that description. She is his personal nanny.”
Some people are even theorizing that the affair rumors are meant to serve as a distraction. “People are saying that she’s actually a hospice nurse and the admin is using the ‘relationship’ rumors as a cover,” a commenter wrote. “Kinda makes sense because who in their right mind??”

And he seems to think the unusual relationship has more to do with his sister’s daddy issues. But that doesn’t mean the relationship is romantic in nature. Preston Harp, who is estranged from his sister, recently told The Daily Beast that he believes Trump is more of a “father figure” to the White House aide.
“The way my sister interacted with and treated my dad throughout the years, it was like she wished she had a different dad,” he revealed.
He also believes that his sister genuinely seems to be drawn to Trump’s politics. “While much of the media has focused on questioning whether her relationship is something scandalous, that is not where my mind goes personally,” he told the publication. “Maybe it is because I just can’t imagine something like that, but to me this is 100 percent an infatuation based on an unfortunate shared ideology of U.S. exceptionalism.”
Although he doesn’t believe the affair rumors, he thinks their relationship seems “very unhealthy.”
Harp is reportedly known as the “human printer” among Trump admin officials because she’s always printing out articles and social media posts to show the president.
