Former President Donald Trump shared a controversial video on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday, March 29. The video shows two trucks covered with Pro-Trump decor and flags. The second truck shown in the 20-second video features an image of President Joe Biden tied up while lying on his side. Critics have pointed to the video as another example of how Trump has incited violence. Biden campaign spokesman Michael Tyler called the video "the type of crap you post when you’re calling for a ‘bloodbath’ or when you tell the proud boys to ‘stand back and stand by.’"
"Trump is regularly inciting political violence and it’s time people take him seriously — just ask the Capitol Police officers who were attacked protecting our democracy on January 6," Tyler continued in a statement.
Trump was already under fire for various comments he has made on the campaign trail. On March 16, he said, "If I get elected — now if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath. That's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country."
He later clarified that he was referring to the auto industry when he made the comment.

When asked to respond to Trump's video of the trucks, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung defended the video by saying that "Democrats and crazed lunatics have not only called for despicable violence against President Trump and his family, they are actually weaponizing the justice system against him.”
He also explained that the "picture was on the back of a pick up truck that was traveling down the highway."
