Disturbing Footage Resurfaces Showing Trump Objectifying His 1-Year-Old Daughter

A resurfaced clip of President Donald Trump has been making the rounds on social media again. In 1994, Trump and his then-wife, Marla Maples, sat down for an interview for Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. At one point, host Robin Leach asked the couple about their daughter Tiffany Trump, who was just one year old at the time. Trump made some disturbing comments about his one-year-old daughter’s body.

“What does Tiffany have of yours and what does Tiffany have of Marla’s?” Leach asked Trump. He responded, “She’s a very beautiful baby.” Then, he went on to say that baby Tiffany had “Marla’s legs” before making a comment about his one-year-old daughter’s breasts. “We don’t know whether or not she’s got this part yet, but time will tell,” Trump said, gesturing to his chest.

Reacting to the clip on YouTube, some critics said they found it disturbing the very first time they saw it years ago. Recently, the clip has garnered attention once again amid concerns about Trump’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

“Who thinks about, or sexualizes, their own baby, or any child for that matter?? He is so sick,” one critic commented on the clip. “Boy, I wonder why he won’t release the Epstein files,” another person wrote.

The clip also resurfaced in 2016. At the time, Leach defended Trump when speaking to InsideEdition. The late entertainment journalist said people’s concerns about Trump’s comments were an “overreaction.” But people couldn’t really get behind the idea that critics were merely digging up dirt on Trump and taking his comments out of context — mostly because they couldn’t imagine a context in which the comments would have been appropriate.

“Using the Robin Leach logic something that happened 22 years ago shouldn’t matter today?” one person wrote. “For some instances I would agree that’s true but for a 47 year old man to make a comment like that about an infant is always going to be disturbing, no matter how much time goes by.”

Someone else questioned, “What context would talking about a 1 year olds underdeveloped breasts be appropriate?”

A third critic gave some examples of how a “normal father” might answer the journalist’s question: Perhaps with something like, “She has her mother’s smile.” Another person agreed with this take, writing, “What parent goes directly to describe their child based on their legs and breasts of their child?! Wtf?! That right there should automatically raise concern!”
