In honor of Wheel of Fortune’s Fabulous Food week, cohost Vanna White decided to share a cooking video on Instagram. She had no idea the video would go viral. In the video, Vanna and her son Nikko demonstrated how to make one of their favorite dishes, which they call “Uncle Roy’s Chicken.” While some fans who watched the video loved the recipe that the mother and son duo shared, others were more focused on Nikko’s appearance.
“First of all, I am not a good cook,” Vanna, 67, said at the beginning of the video. “But fortunately, my son Nikko is, so he’s going to make one of my favorite dishes.” In the video, Nikko walked viewers through each step as he prepared the dish.
Vanna’s son Nikko has attracted a lot of attention since the video was first posted on December 2, 2024.
In the comments, some fans asked Vanna where she’s been hiding her son.
“Vanna where have you been hiding Nikko ?” one person wondered. “He’s GORGEOUS.”
Another wrote: “Is son on the menu too? Errr I mean great video!!”
One fan wanted to set Vanna’s son up with their daughter. “If your son is free my daughter is also. Lol they can cook together,” they commented.
Another person who was also hoping to connect with Nikko wrote: “What’s his @?? Asking for a friend.”

After Vanna received tons of comments about how “handsome” Nikko is, she and her son sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Though the attention they’ve gotten from the cooking video was unexpected, Nikko told Entertainment Tonight that the comments are “flattering.”
“Obviously I had an outpour from her fans just really being kind and saying all kinds of interesting stuff in the comments,” Nikko told the outlet.
Now that the video of Vanna and Nikko has gone viral, he’s getting a lot more attention but he’s not mad at it, since he’s “always loved being in front of the camera.” Later in the interview, however, he revealed that he’s already in a committed relationship.
Even though the attention doesn’t bother him, he has also reminded himself to take a step back from it.
“People see me as this heartthrob and they’re ‘thirsty’ for me and all this stuff and I love it all,” Nikko shared. “But at the same time, it’s good to remember the meaningful things in life and to just kind of dial it back, doing a lot of charity work, working hard every day and that’s what it is to me, just making an impact.”
Vanna praised her son, saying, “He’s such a good kid.”
Entertainment Tonight‘s Deidre Behar asked the Wheel of Fortune star if her son will ever join her on the show. “I would love that. I’m gonna ask,” she said.
