White House Deletes Video Of Trump Insulting Officials & Admitting He’s Easily ‘Seduced’ By ‘Bad People’

Based on what President Donald Trump is willing to admit publicly, it feels safe to assume that the man has no filter at all. And given how the people in his circle continue to defend him, it seems like no one in the Trump administration is all that bothered by his frequent unhinged comments. Trump’s Easter speech, however, was so unhinged that the White House seemingly deleted it after sharing it on social media—but not before people managed to save it.

The Easter event was not open to the press, and presumably, the public was never meant to see the footage. Yet here we are.

In his speech, Trump made a variety of wild claims.

After the White House uploaded a video from the event to the official White House website and YouTube channel, it was deleted. However, Business Insider Senior Politics Reporter Bryan Metzger shared the full clip on social media. Though the White House seemingly deleted the questionable footage, Snopes verified that it’s real.

And somehow, some of the things Trump admitted during the event were even bolder than his previous confessions, which is really saying something. At one point, Trump likened himself to a king when complaining about the ballroom project he’s obsessed with. “I can’t get a ballroom approved,” he said. “It’s pretty amazing, right? If I was a king, we’d be doing a lot more. I’m doing a lot, but I could be doing a lot more if I was a king.”

He also suggested that those who he appointed to the Supreme Court should be loyal to him no matter what. “Republicans, judges, and justices, they always want to show that they’re independent,” he said. “‘I don’t care if Trump appointed me, I don’t care, if it doesn’t make any difference to me. I’m voting against him!'”

In Trump’s eyes, this means they’re “stupid.” He complained, “‘Cause they want to show their independence, you know, stupid people.”

Trump also admitted he’s easily “seduced” by “bad people.”

In another part of the clip, Trump admitted to something that many people already believed to be true. They just didn’t expect Trump to be so self-aware. “You know, we’re not supposed to be seduced that way, right, but I am,” Trump said. “When someone’s nice to me, I love that person. Even if they’re bad people. I couldn’t care less. I’ll fight to the end for them.”

On X, one Trump critic noted that this admission “explains his foreign policy decisions.” They also wrote, “He just admitted he likes bad people as long as they’re nice to him.” And, yeah, that’s not the most reassuring thing to hear from the president.

Someone else chimed in with, “Yeah, we know & it’s a giant national security risk. Also wtf, so creepy when grandpa (publicly) uses the word ‘seduced’ in any context.”

And he also commented on Vice President JD Vance’s appearance, because of course he did.

We all know how much Trump loves to talk about the way people look. You might also remember how, once, when Trump was talking about his “fat” friend, Vance interrupted to say the president wasn’t talking about him. Well, that statement is even less convincing after hearing what Trump said about Vance during his Easter speech.

“Is JD here?” he said during the speech. He then scanned the crowd, looking for Vance before saying, “Oh, JD! He’s lost weight. He got a little thinner. I’m looking for a heavyset gentleman, and now I find a perfect-looking specimen.” A perfect-looking specimen? OK. That might be even weirder than when he talked about Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers’ “larger and harder” muscles.
