We have all had one of those days at our jobs where we just can’t even. It appears that this happened to Whoopi Goldberg when she was cohosting The View on January 9, 2024. She introduced a story about foot fetishes to the group. She was visibly annoyed by it.
Whoopi's displeasure actually caused her to get up and walk away from the conversation at one point. She quickly returned and joked out the situation but you could tell she wanted to be talking about anything else. It seems like feet aren’t her thing.
The story that prompted the discussion originally appeared in The Guardian. A man wrote in asking for advice. He used to love giving his wife foot massages but when he told her he had a foot fetish she stopped letting him. He didn’t know what to do.
The women talked it out, like they usually do. Alyssa Farah Griffin mused that in a relationship one should "entertain your partner's kink within reason." This is when Whoopi got up. "Excuse me for a second, keep talking," she stated. "Whoopi has left the building," Alyssa commented.

Whoopi was only gone for a couple of seconds. She handed something to someone off camera. Joy Behar asked why she left. "Because I was so enamored by what you were saying that I felt that I needed to take a breath so I could just get myself together so I could come back to the table. So, I just got up and walked away and got myself together," Whoopi quipped. "This is what this conversation does to people. It makes them get up and move. I don't care, because my feet are huge, and no one wants to touch them."
