Adam Levine has been in the headlines of late for all the wrong reasons. He was accused by multiple women of sending flirtatious direct messages on Instagram. One of these women, Sumner Stroh, also claims they had a yearlong affair. Adam has denied these rumors and tried to stay out of the limelight while his wife, Behati Prinsloo, was pregnant with their third child.
A source close to the couple confirmed to People magazine that their child was born. Beyond that, not many other details are known. Perhaps this will be a welcome new beginning for the family after all the drama.
Adam and Behati first met via email through a mutual friend. Adam was looking for a model for his music video who was not afraid of doing some action sequences. Behati passed on the job, but their correspondence continued.
Behati opened up about their relationship to Net-a-Porter. "We kept emailing each other," she recalled. "It was such a natural correspondence that we kind of fell in love over email."
Eventually, the pair decided to meet up in person in Los Angeles. "He took me for dinner and we talked for hours and had the best time. It was love at first sight, it was crazy," she went on to say.
The couple got engaged in July 2013. "It was a one-knee thing! It was serious, it was very old school. He called my dad, he was a stand-up guy, called my mom, he did the whole thing," Behati recalled.
Adam and Behati’s wedding took place on July 19, 2014, at Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was an over-the-top, star-studded event. Jonah Hill officiated, and Stevie Nicks, Maroon 5, and Sublime performed at the reception.
In September 2016, they welcomed their first child, Dusty Rose Levine. The couple always wanted a big family.
"We always knew we wanted a second one,” Behati told Entertainment Tonight.
Adam and Behati got their wish. Gio Grace was born on February 15, 2018. The new family of four was over the moon.
Much of Behati’s third pregnancy was overshadowed by Adam’s cheating allegations. They announced they were expecting in September 2022, and news broke about the alleged affair that same month. Adam took responsibility for sending flirtatious inappropriate messages but denied the affair in a statement posted on Instagram.
"I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life," he stated.
