While some kids are born with a natural talent for being athletic, playing a musical instrument, or being artistic, others are just born with "it" — that extra factor take takes you from talented to a star.
Alexa Curtis has been singing since she was three-and-a-half years old, but that didn't necessarily mean she had the talent. What set her apart from other kids is that she had that extra knack for performing. Don't get me wrong, her voice is incredible, but this kid's ability to captivate an audience is even more amazing.
When Alexa was 10 years old, she auditioned for a show we desperately need in the United States — The Voice: Kids. As you'll see in the following video, Alexa completely blew away the judges…and they hadn't even seen her yet.
Alexa came out guns blazing with an unbelievable performance of "Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys. I've heard this song so many times, including in this adorable audition from 6-year-old Chelsea, and yet it's never been more fitting than when this tiny littler girl sings it.
It may not come as a surprise that Alexa went on to win The Voice: Kids due to amazing performances like this and when she performed a mind-blowing cover of Mariah Carey's "Hero."
She is definitely one kid you'll want to look out for in years to come! Please SHARE her audition on Facebook so your friends can enjoy, too!
