Anderson Cooper Says Son Wyatt, 2, Has His First Crush And It’s On Kelly Ripa’s Daughter

Anderson Cooper only just announced the birth of his second child, but his older son, Wyatt, has already hit a pretty big milestone. Wyatt is 22 months old, but Anderson says he already has his first crush. And it's on the daughter of one of Anderson's closest friends!

Anderson appeared on an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan recently and opened up about the adorable newfound "crush." He said that Kelly and her daughter, Lola, recently got the chance to meet his newborn, Sebastian Luke. While they were visiting, Wyatt appeared totally infatuated with Lola.

"My son Wyatt is so deeply in love with Lola Consuelos that it's like, the love that burns of 1,000 suns," Anderson said. He also shared some super-adorable photos of Lola holding Wyatt. The little boy is gazing lovingly at 20-year-old Lola.

"Look at how he's staring at her. He even coordinated outfits with her," Anderson said. "He is just so besotted. He could not take his eyes off Lola."

Lola is definitely a stunner, so we can't blame little Wyatt. But according to Kelly, the affection goes both ways.

"It is a mutual love," Kelly said. She also noted that when Lola gave a bit of attention to the new baby, Wyatt was pretty jealous.

Can't blame him there, either. It's tough to be 22 months and already a big brother.

"He grabbed Lola's hand because she came in to see the baby," Kelly explained. "He was done with the fawning over the baby so he grabbed Lola's hand. And I said, 'Wyatt, where are you going?' And he said, 'Bye!'"

Anderson's new baby has been meeting all of his closest friends. Andy Cohen recently shared a picture of himself holding the new baby. His son, Benjamin Allen, got to meet Anderson's newest addition, too.

Crushes aside, it's really sweet that Anderson is surrounded by a ton of support on his parenting journey. It's also great that his kids are already bonding with the kids of his besties. As kids who are in the public eye, those bonds may end up being really essential.
