Bravo Star Andy Cohen Welcomes His Second Baby Via Surrogate: ‘I’m So Happy’

Bravo personality Andy Cohen just welcomed his second baby.

The 53-year-old star made his exciting announcement on Friday in a sweet post on Instagram.

"HERE'S LUCY!!!!!" he wrote. "Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She's 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!"

He showed Lucy off in the post, too, with a picture of him holding his new bundle of joy.

Of course, Andy already has one child, who he shared is just as excited about their growing family. "Her big brother can't wait to meet her!" he wrote.

His post continued on to thank the woman who made it all possible: "Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I'm so happy."

It's well-known that Andy and Anderson Cooper are great friends. Anderson, who also has two kids, was quick to congratulate his friend in the comments. "Amazing! Congratulations! Welcome Lucy!!!!" he wrote.

Andy's first child, a son named Ben, was born in 2019. At the time, he spoke out about his desire to become a parent, saying that he wasn't going to wait for the perfect partner to come along and was content to be a single parent.

He said that he always knew he wanted a family, but he wasn't sure it would be possible. He said that, as a gay man, he wasn't sure it was "in the cards" for him.

He also said that his coming out was hard for his mom because she, too, thought he'd never have kids: "When I came out to my parents in 1988, my mom said she had to mourn the life that I wasn't going to be able to have. And that life meant getting married and having kids."

Congrats to Andy on his beautiful family!
