When Gunnar Morby met his future wife Rheannon, there was one thing that they found pretty funny. The couple has the exact same birthday, July 13. Rheannon became pregnant with the couple's second child, a baby girl, and were assigned a due date of July 10.
On July 12, still pregnant, Rheannon went in for a routine ultrasound, where doctors decided to induce labor. Then on July 13, Rheannon gave birth to their daughter Raelyn Leeann, born 8 pounds, 3 ounces. As fate would have it, Mom, Dad, and the baby all share the exact same birthday. The family's older son might consider himself lucky — being born on October 23, he's the only one who will get the special day all to himself. The couple has long gotten used to sharing their special day. Raelyn and Rheannon were also born at the same hospital! This is one lucky family.
“I do a nice thing for her and she does a nice thing for me,” Gunnar told the Tri-City Herald.
Do you have any strange birthday coincidences in your family? Personally, my mother was given a due date of October 3 for my birth, but she couldn't stand to be pregnant much longer and did jumping jacks to induce the day before. My birthday is October 2, and my mother's is October 3. Similarly, my aunt and her daughter share birthdays one day apart!
