Parents Think Newborn Baby Girl Is Normal, Then She Opens Her Mouth To Cry

When Vicki Griffiths found out she was pregnant with a baby, she was thrilled. Her baby, due in September, would be a blessing for Vicki and her husband, Steven.

Vicki went into labor and gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, Eva Faith, on September 8, 2013.

After she gave birth, Vicki went to take a bath while her husband watched their new baby.

When Vicki returned to the room after her bath, her husband looked at her and said, "She's got teeth, you know!"

Vicki and Steven both burst out laughing — they hadn't noticed when Eva was first born because she had her mouth closed, but later when she opened her mouth, Steven spotted two tiny white teeth poking out from the bottom of her mouth.

Steven and Vicki were completely shocked to see Eva's tiny chompers; even the midwives were shocked to see the baby girl's little teeth!

When baby Eva Faith was born, her parents and midwives were stunned to see that she had two tiny little white teeth poking out from her gums.

In an interview with Daily Mail, Vicki said, "We were in shock, and so were the midwives. She had her mouth closed to begin with, so we didn't notice. It was quite bizarre to see them."

Nurses, midwives, and doctors were all surprised to see Eva's teeth, as it's very uncommon for babies to be born with teeth.

Vicki, who had originally been planning to breastfeed, changed her mind when she saw Eva's teeth.

Vicki took Eva to the general practitioner after she was born, where her doctor told her he'd never seen anything like it.

Vicki originally thought that Eva's teeth would be a problem — she worried that doctors would have to remove them so she wouldn't choke on them if they fell out.

Vicki and Steven were worried that Eva would grow more teeth as an infant, but luckily she didn't.

Now Eva is a sweet, happy 3-year-old with more teeth. Even as an infant, she was always showing off her two tiny incisors, making everyone she met smile.

Vicki told LittleThings that Eva "still has one of the teeth, the other fell out 2 months ago."

This sweet baby girl born with tiny teeth is definitely unforgettable — even as the years go by, her story will definitely stick with all who saw her newborn teeth!
