On her 65th birthday, this mother wasn't expecting anything out of the box. She would have been happy just quietly celebrating with her husband, daughter, and son-in-law. That's all anyone needs on a birthday, right? Some quality time with the family? I think so!
However, it turns out her daughter, Jamie, has been hiding something from her for three long months…
Jamie hands her mother a small, wrapped gift. Inside, she was bubbling with anticipation as her mom peeled the paper away. Then, her husband Robert chimes in and says that well, it's also partially a gift from him.
Mom finds a heart-shaped picture frame with a strange black-and-white photo. It takes her a second to figure out exactly what she's looking at, but when she finally puts the pieces together? Her jaw drops to the floor, and she can't help but start to weep a bit.
Thankfully, those tears are tears of pure joy! For her 65th birthday, this mom found out that she was finally going to be a grandmother! She's so utterly surprised by the pregnancy news that she shouts out a confused "Oh, no!" before she goes on to smile from ear to ear and cry that river of happy tears.
It must have been difficult for Jamie and Robert to keep this secret for so long, but it was totally worth this incredible birthday present!
