There's nothing more difficult for a parent than to see their child suffering in any way. No matter how big or small the issue may be, a parent will always feel it just a little bit stronger than his or her child. It's just the way unconditional love works.

So when your kid is truly sick, it's like your worst nightmare come true.
There's no way to express the emotions that you feel. This father, whose daughter is suffering from a rare genetic disease, chose to sing as a way of showing how his daughter's pain is affecting him. Though she can't understand what he's saying, he still sings for her every morning. It's so powerful.
Another father whose unconditional love is bettering the life of his child is Bill Davis. His son Nick suffers from severe autism and a number of other ailments, and it's brought new challenges to his and his wife's lives. However, they've chosen to devote themselves to Nick and his happiness. It's unbelievable.
For 6-year-old Brian, his bravery in the face of his cancer diagnosis is inspiring people beyond his own family. His courage impressed local firefighters so much that they made Brian an honorary member of the fire department, something they'd never done before.
