Strangers Surprise Family In Hospital After Grandma Accidentally Texts Them About New Baby

Getting a text that is meant for someone else can either be really awkward or really funny.

But when that text comes from a complete stranger, it makes you wonder; how did they even get your number?

If they're trying to talk about something important, shouldn't that person be already saved in their contacts? Depending on the situation, there might just be too much excitement going on and an accidental text gets sent out!

That is what happened with Theresa Lashley. She was sending the entire family a mass text message about Lindsey and Mark's birth announcement. But she somehow managed to add a number of a person she did not know.

Deorick Williams got the text message, instead of the family member Theresa meant to text, but instead of ignoring them like almost any other teenager would, Deorick decided to show up for the family!

19-year-old Deorick got the first text message from Theresa and tried to let her know that she'd text the wrong number. But then she sent a picture of the baby!

Being a nice guy, Deorick tried to let her know she was still texting a wrong number, and some other family members in the group chat got a laugh out of seeing his responses!

But because he had gotten the message, Deorick and his brother, Dennis, decided that they'd go see this baby they kept hearing about!

The two brothers showed up at the hospital to take a picture with the family and brought them gifts for the baby!

Theresa also posted on her own Facebook after the mix-up occurred when she realized that she'd text a total stranger.

The family was very thankful that these brothers were so kind to a group of virtual strangers on such an important day!

Don't forget to SHARE this text message mix up with all of your friends and family!
