Bruce Springsteen is a grandpa!
The Boss's wife, Patti Scialfa, just took to Instagram to share the joyous news that their family is growing. Bruce and Patti's youngest son, Sam, became the father of a new baby girl. It's the first grandchild for Bruce and Patti.
The proud grandma also shared the baby's name: Lily Harper Springsteen.
Patti, 68, shared two sweet photos on Instagram. The first was a black-and-white shot of her and Bruce's son, Sam, and his partner, along with a baby stroller. "Walking the baby," she wrote in the caption.
In the second image, we got to see baby Lily up close. The little bundle of joy is still wearing her hospital bracelet in the photo. She also has on a pink hat and adorable pink bear mittens.
Sam is the youngest of Bruce's three kids. In January 2020, he embarked on a new career, as he was sworn in by the mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey, to the Jersey City Fire Department. Bruce expressed his pride at his son's accomplishment, telling CBS, "It was a long road, he was very dedicated for quite a few years and we are just excited for him today."
