Prince Louis Steals The Show In Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Leaked Christmas Card

The Cambridges are having a surprisingly busy holiday season!

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been hard at work on behalf of the royal family. After months hunkering down due to the health crisis, they've been out and about giving back. It's caused a bit of controversy, since the UK itself is not quite out of the woods yet.

Still, many royal fans have enjoyed the glimpses of the Cambridges. The last few days have seen two very special ones. On Friday, they hit the red carpet with 7-year-old Prince George, 5-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 2-year-old Prince Louis. The family of five attended a pantomime performance. Aside from taking in the show, they met with essential workers and members of the London theater community.

The second great glimpse at the Cambridge family was when their Christmas card photo was leaked on Sunday. Though the family was peeved at the same thing happening last year, you can't deny that it's a really cute card that we hope we get a better look at.

This week, royal fans have been treated to a few glimpses of the Cambridge family. We've been seeing Prince William and Kate Middleton increasingly out and about fulfilling royal duties amidst the health crisis. Now their little ones are stepping out with them, too.

On Friday, William and Kate took their kiddos out for a special treat to celebrate the winter holidays. The family of five attended a pantomime performance at the London Palladium. They even walked the red carpet, a first for the children.

Prince Louis clutched Kate's hand, while William had George and Charlotte. Charlotte, ever the confident and daring little girl, decided she wanted to do the walk on her own and refused to keep hold of her dad's hand. He lovingly stroked her hair as they walked instead.

Many royal fans were surprised to see how tall Prince George is looking. The 7-year-old seems to be almost half his father's 6-foot-3 frame already. The future king is looking seriously grown up and was calm, cool, and collected throughout the outing.

Inside the event, William gave a brief speech reflecting on what it's taken to get the West End community back to performing.

"It's wonderful to be back here in the West End and see theatres reopening their doors. Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis and I are all really looking forward to the show," William said.

Later in the weekend, royal fans were surprised to find that the Cambridge Christmas card photo had leaked. This is the second year the photo has gotten out ahead of an official Kensington Palace release. Last year, the photo used wasn't ever released, likely as a reaction to the leak.

In the photo, the family is smiling and posed in front of a wall of chopped wood. It fits their very country aesthetic to a T. The star of the show, without question, is Prince Louis. The 2-year-old is positively beaming with a big open-mouth smile.

There are some other royal Christmas cards getting attention right now as well. A collection of cards sent by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles went up for auction this past weekend at Rowley's auction house in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The auction was to benefit Norfolk Hospice in King's Lynn, which is just 3 miles from Windsor Castle.

As for royal Christmas plans, just days ago William and Kate publicly commented that they were still unsure of what they were doing. William mentioned it while talking to students at Cardiff University.

"It is so difficult. We are still trying to make plans," he said, according to People magazine.

"It's difficult to know what to do for the best."
