Brave Mom Who Chronicled Her Journey With Cancer On TikTok Dies At Age 37

Cancer is one of the most devastating diagnoses to get, and it's also quite common. After hearing the news that she had lymphoma, one mom tried hard to document her journey. But unfortunately, in November of 2021, she lost her battle.

Stacey Pentland, who was only 37, developed fame on TikTok as she let followers in to see her everyday life. Fans became aware of Stacey's death on TikTok as well, after her family put up an announcement with the news.

"It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our beautiful Stacey passed away this afternoon at 20 to 2," the TikTok message read. "Can I ask you to respect the family's privacy at this difficult time."

Stacey was a mother of four who lived in Newcastle, England. She had just started her TikTok account fairly recently, in April 2020. That's around the time she got her diagnosis, and she likely started the account to keep track of her progress. But based on her sweet nature, she racked up over 200,000 followers.

Her last video came out on November 15. In it, she admitted that she was in rough shape and was starting to have issues with her mobility.

She was so beloved that fans felt moved to make tribute videos after hearing the news.

She leaves behind her four children — Chloe, Sophie, Geordie, and AJ — and husband Anthony. While their grief must be tremendous, hopefully they know that their mom was beloved all around the globe, and she likely helped other young women who were also undergoing a struggle with cancer.
