Chrissy Teigen made a special kids menu for her picky toddler, and it's both adorable and impressive.
Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, have two children, Luna, 2, and Miles, 7 months. Like many toddlers, Luna is apparently incredibly picky when it comes to food. And Chrissy being Chrissy, she came up with a genius idea to make mealtimes less of a struggle.
"I made a restaurant for my 2 and a half year old," Chrissy shared on Twitter. The Cravings author filmed a video of the menu, which is multiple pages long and features staged photos and elaborate descriptions of every single item. "Trying to get Luna to eat by being psychotic," she joked in the caption.
Luna can now choose from chicken tenders, cereal with banana, or "Lunables," among other items.
Oh, and every item comes with a specific price. Where is this 2-year-old getting the money?! No idea, but these dishes are honestly pretty affordable. The cheese quesadilla is $3, for example. (Chicken is $1 extra.)
In response to the tweet, plenty of fans were in awe of how cute the menu is. Other grateful parents chimed in to say that, actually, this idea is really useful. Kids menus for everyone!
Chrissy Teigen is beloved for many reasons. Two of those reasons are that she's an amazing cook and an incredibly honest, transparent mom.
Chrissy's most recent cookbook, Cravings: Hungry for More, just came out in September. It features a long list of drool-worthy items.
Like this scallop linguini with toasted garlic breadcrumbs, "lots of parm," and "other secrets," for one.
Mmmm.
But sadly, Chrissy's serious cooking skills don't entirely resonate with her picky 2-year-old daughter, Luna.
When it comes to feeding Luna, Chrissy has to take a different approach.
But that doesn't mean she can't give it her own special Chrissy spin.
Chrissy came up with an entire separate kids menu just for Luna.
The menu is multiple pages long, and it includes high-class items such as cereal with bananas, grilled cheese, and a cheese quesadilla with a side of pickles.
There are photos, descriptions, and prices for each item — just like a traditional menu.
"Trying to get Luna to eat by being psychotic," the video reads.
"I made a restaurant for my 2 and a half year old," Chrissy wrote alongside the video on Twitter.
The cutest item on the menu? A special version of Lunchables, appropriately called "Lunables" just for Luna.
Also, how adorable is the offer for "your choice of dip-dip" alongside the crispy fish sticks?
Other parents 100% understand the struggle to memorize the list of dishes that your kid will actually eat.
They think the menu idea is really, really smart.

A limited menu could potentially make meal time SO much easier for parents.

Also, parent or not, you have to admit that Chrissy's kids menu is freakin' adorable.

And while the items on the menu are no Cravings dishes, they still look… pretty yummy?
Like, I would devour these coconut chicken tenders!
And so would a lot of other people (I hope).

Chrissy may really be onto something here.
