Bride Thinks Wedding Band Ruined First Dance When Singer Says To Look At Man Behind Her

Samantha and Taylor had found the perfect wedding venue in Mexico where they got engaged. But just as they were about to finalize the contract, Samantha's world came crashing down.

Kathy, Samantha's mom, learned her multiple sclerosis was progressing and she couldn't travel. Samantha and Taylor instantly changed their plans and decided on a wedding in the states. But the night before they signed the contract on their new venue, Kathy was rushed to the hospital, her condition worsening.

Samantha quit her job and moved closer to her mom so she could become Kathy's caretaker. In the meantime, she began to research quick weddings in a haste. At this point, she was open to marrying Taylor in a backyard or courthouse — just as long as her mom could be there. That's when Samantha stumbled upon an annual Dream Wedding contest hosted by TheKnot.com.

Samantha entered the contest and submitted her story to The Knot — and was shocked when she and Taylor actually won! The prize was an all-expenses-paid wedding day… but the surprise was far from over.

Samantha and Taylor knew exactly which song they wanted their wedding band to play for their first dance. "Love You Like That" by country star Canaan Smith was a beautiful and perfect song. "We chose a song that's very catered towards us as a couple… not one of the traditional first dance songs," Samantha said. Taylor agreed: "Just listening to the song makes us both smile and reminds us of each other and our love for one another."

After Samantha and Taylor tied the knot, it was time to party. But moments after the band began to play their special song, they abruptly stopped. The lead singer made an announcement.

"We have a better idea."
