Kevin and Melissa of Phoenix, Arizona, needed to replace their longtime nanny, so they turned to a nanny-finder website. They ended up hiring a woman named Jacqueline, who said she was a former pediatric nurse.
Jacqueline seemed so professional and so full of personality that Kevin and Melissa likened her to Mrs. Doubtfire.

Jacqueline's first week at their home went well, and things went off without a hitch. But then she was left alone with the children for the first time.

Melissa came home expecting to be greeted by her enthusiastic nanny — but instead, her sons were hysterically crying and shivering.
"As I got closer, I noticed what looked like rug burns all over his face and cuts," Melissa told CBS.
Melissa and Kevin say when they asked Jacqueline what happened while they were gone, she refused a real explanation … and then suddenly left.
When Kevin checked his home security footage, he couldn't believe his eyes.
As it turned out, there were glaring red flags that were missed.
