Though Courteney Cox and her daughter, Coco Arquette, are close, they appeared to have a heated exchange at London's Heathrow Airport on Monday, March 11. The Friends actress, 59, and her daughter, 19, were photographed walking through the airport while having a conversation that appeared to be a bit intense.
Coco spoke with her hands, waving them around and pointing her finger at her mom as she spoke. Courteney was pictured staring back at her daughter with a stern expression on her face. They were both dressed casually as they traveled.
It's unclear what Courteney and her daughter were talking about as they walked through the airport. Courteney shares her daughter Coco with her ex-husband David Arquette. In October 2023, Courteney told Marie Claire that she struggled to adjust after her daughter left for college.
"I expected her to need [me] more than she does," she told the outlet at the time, also adding that she misses her daughter "every minute." Though they don't see each other as often now, they still talk to each other using FaceTime on a regular basis.

It's unclear if Courteney was truly as annoyed as she looked in the photos taken at the airport, but in June 2023, she posted about Coco on Instagram in celebration of her birthday, noting that she appreciates her daughter's "spicy" personality.
"Happy Birthday Cocolicious! I love you and your sweet, caring, sensitive, spicy, original, salty, witty, beautiful heart. ♥️♥️♥️" she wrote at the time.
