Parenthood is full of joyful moments, and sometimes, those moments include a good laugh at our expense. One such heartwarming yet hilarious incident involves a dad who, in the middle of his parenting journey, accidentally mistook his wife’s bodysuit for a baby onesie.
When Quincie Cox, who is a full-time content creator, came across her bodysuit in her daughter’s closet, she knew she had to find her phone and record her husband's reaction. She told Today, “It was so funny, I was like ‘I have to film this to show our daughter one day.’”
In the video, she calls her husband to their daughter’s closet, and he is already looking confused as to why he is being summoned. When she asks him “What is that?” he thinks she is talking about their daughter's clothes and informs her that he colored-coordinated them! She then asks him why the “black one” was hanging up.
Quincie then asks him to grab it and he says, “I don’t know what these are, I just hang them up!” Can I just say as a wife and a mom, when your husband simply hangs something up, that’s a miracle in itself! She then tells him to look at the back of the onesie, because it had a thong in the back!
Then, like how most men would react, Quincie’s husband gave her the “seriously” face and asked her if it was hers. He then said, “You’re going to fit in this? It looks like it’s for a 12-month-old.” He then held it up to compare it to one of their daughter's onesies. He did have a point because her bodysuit was hilariously similar to her daughter’s clothes size.
