Devastated Nick Carter Sobs During Backstreet Boys Tribute Song For Brother Aaron Carter

Over the weekend, Aaron Carter, the child pop star-turned rapper, was found dead in his bathtub. As his friends, family, and fans mourn, tributes are pouring in for the late star who struggled with drug addiction.

On Sunday, the Backstreet Boys had a concert in London. During it, they honored Aaron with a moving tribute in the form of a song. His brother, Nick Carter, sobbed uncontrollably during the devastating moment.

The emotional singer was consoled by fellow Backstreet Boys members during the deeply sad tribute.

As the band play the song "No Place," photos of Nick and his late brother were shown to the crowd on a big screen. Nick's bandmates could clearly be seen hugging and supporting him. It was a truly touching moment.

Bandmates AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough held onto Nick as Kevin Richardson, spoke to the crowd about the horrible loss. “Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday, and we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him,” Kevin said. “Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter passed away yesterday."

“We’d like to dedicate this song to our little brother, Aaron Carter. … May he rest in heaven.” Howie said before the song began.

Earlier in the day, Nick made it clear that his heart is absolutely shattered. He shared a montage of photos of his late brother on Instagram.

"Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded," he wrote.

The post continued, "I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know."

He concluded the emotional tribute by writing, "I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….God, Please take care of my baby brother."
