In my home there has always been one standing, year-round tradition: a plentiful stash of candy.
Whether in a fancy glass bowl on the coffee table, from a pillowcase around Halloween, or even straight out of your ice dispenser, there truly is no wrong way to enjoy candy.
But as this crafty candy-lover's DIY project is about to prove, there are definitely some very creative ways to enjoy candy!
With just a few pieces of wood, a Mason jar, and a delicious bag of Jelly Belly jellybeans, she created her very own at-home candy dispenser — and the results are as adorable as they are delicious!
But her project isn't just limited to jellybeans. This impressive invention could hold M&Ms, Skittles, Reese's Pieces — whatever your sweet tooth desires!

To make her jelly bean dispenser, she started off with some different sized pieces of wood.
She used wood glue and nails to create the base of the candy dispenser.
Out of a longer piece of wood, she cut a space for one jelly bean to fit.
Then she created the the lever, which you pull when you want to retrieve a piece of candy.
On top, she added a piece of wood with a hole big enough for a jelly bean.
She used wood glue to attach the metal lid of the Mason jar to the rest of the dispenser.
The Mason jar can be screwed on and off to fill with more candy!
When the lever is pulled, one jelly bean falls through the hole in the wood and is pulled out.
She filled the Mason jar with jelly beans, but this candy dispenser would be perfect for Skittles and M&Ms as well.
What an ingenious way to combine my favorite things: candy and Mason jars!
