Elon Musk notoriously has a lot of children. No one quite knows how many or who the baby mamas are, in part because he’s evidently not above offering them hush money not to share that information publicly. Not even his estranged oldest daughter, Vivian Wilson, seems to know exactly how many siblings she has. Early in 2025, the 21-year-old told Teen Vogue, she doesn’t “actually know” how many children her dad has fathered either.
“I will say I do not actually know how many siblings I have, if you include half-siblings,” she admitted. “I found out about the Shivon Zilis thing at the same time everyone else did. I had no idea before that,” she continued, referring to Zillis’ birth announcement in February 2025.
Zillis posted on billionaire Musk’s platform X, announcing the birth of their fourth child together, Seldon Lycurgus, though it’s unclear when that child was actually born.

By most counts, Musk has as many as 14 children with four different mothers. Four of those children — Wilson and four others — he shares with ex-wife Canadian author Justine Wilson. Vivian Wilson and her twin brother Griffin, are their oldest children, though they did have a child before them, who tragically died at just 10 weeks old. Their living siblings include triplets, Damian, Saxon, and Kai.
Musk also shares three children with musician Grimes, whom he is also reportedly estranged from. Additionally, author Ashley St. Clair, claims she is the mother of one of his children and that he tried to bribe her with millions of dollars to keep their son a secret.
“I found out about Grimes having a second child because a drag queen posted about it on Reddit,” Wilson shared with Teen Vogue. “I wasn’t in communication with anyone in that family, which still holds true.”
Wilson who came out as transgender in 2022, has seemingly been estranged from Musk for some time, and she says their relationship worsened at that point due to Musk’s conservative views. For his part, Musk has said that she was “killed by the woke mind virus.”
