Pilot Thinks Of Twin Daughters During Emergency Landing

When you become a parent, you finally experience what it is to love someone more than you ever thought possible and it is an incredible feeling.

You tend to act in favor of your child in any situation because you really do love them and care for them more than anyone else in the world, including yourself… even if it means selling your prized 1977 Corvette.

Scott Richmond, the father of 12-year-old twin girls Ashley and Carly, is the type of dad who makes sure his daughters are always happy and does everything he does just for them, something they saw in action when dad had a close call with death just a few days ago.

As Scott was flying his plane from Michigan to south Florida for a business trip, his single engine prop plane started to sputter as it ran out of gas mid-air as he circled the airport waiting for clearance to land.

He realized that he needed to act fast if he wanted to survive, so he made an emergency landing the first place he could: a busy Florida freeway.

The risky but successful landing paid off, and Scott says it was completely motivated by the thought of his beautiful girls at home who are "not ready to be alone".

This dad definitely deserves a dad of the year award!
