Mom Overhears Teen Son Mocking Classmates Who Shop At Goodwill, Forces Him To Go There

Bullying has become a full-fledged epidemic, and many concerned parents are taking a stand in hopes of rerouting their kids' bullying tendencies. In so many cases, the incessant teasing and taunting is based on such superficial things — like the clothes someone wears and/or the stores in which they buy them.

The mom from Braselton, Georgia, grew so disappointed in him that she decided to teach him a lesson in entitlement and gratitude, one which we think many other children could stand to learn.

Cierra explained what happened next in a viral Facebook post: "So lately, my 13-year-old son had been acting a little… entitled. Acting like he's too good to shop at Walmart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at Goodwill and quite a few other things. I don't tolerate that."

Cierra's Facebook post was shared tens of thousands of times. Her clever form of punishment hit home with readers everywhere, who commended her amazing parenting techniques.
