Humiliated Mom Says Family Was Kicked Off Plane Because Of 3-Year-Old Son’s Disability

Caroline Scott knew her upcoming flight to Florida would not be easy, but it was a trip she and her family had been preparing for.

Caroline's 3-year-old son, Orion, has sensory processing disorder, which can cause him to become overly sensitive to various stimuli.

Since getting Orion to keep his mask on during the flight could potentially pose some problems, Caroline took it upon herself to take extra precautions.

Orion had been working tirelessly with both his parents and an occupational therapist so that he'd be able to wear his mask on the plane from Denver to Fort Lauderdale.

Upon booking the flight for herself, her husband, and their two sons, Caroline told the airline about Orion's condition, just to be safe. She also submitted a note from his doctor.

She says the airline supervisor came back with a question for her: "Can you 100% guarantee that you will keep the mask on your son?"

Caroline answered with a resounding "yes." She was confident in her boy.

Fast-forward to the day of their flight. The Scott family boarded the plane and found their seats. Orion was all ready to go, wearing his mask just like he'd learned.

But just before takeoff, the Scotts heard the flight attendants calling their names over the loudspeaker.

Watch the video below to see why Caroline and her family were left humiliated and stunned — and removed from the flight completely.
