Frankie Muniz Celebrates As His First Child Is Born: ‘My Life Changed Forever’

Former child star Frankie Muniz has a new role to add to his résumé — dad. He and his wife, Paige, have been excellent at keeping fans updated on the pending arrival, and now he's finally here. On March 22, the couple welcomed Mauz Mosley Muniz.

While Frankie had been waiting for the moment to arrive, he never realized the full impact it would have. Luckily, he captured his feelings in a beautiful ode to his son, which he posted on Instagram.

"World, meet my son Mauz Mosley Muniz," he wrote. "He was born on March 22nd at 11:15 AM. That was the moment that my life changed forever. I had heard that it would, but I never would have expected the impact seeing my son would have on me. Honestly, I didn’t know it was possible to love anything as much as I love him."

Frankie's experience seems quite similar to the common feeling most parents share. "It took me a long time to post because I’ve been 1000% obsessed with him, already striving to make every moment he lives on earth the best it can possibly be," he wrote. And he's also making a few sacrifices for both Mauz and Paige.

"I found myself very emotional the other day as I pondered how lucky I was to have the most incredible wife and now the most amazing child and thought how all I want from now on is to make the world a better place, for them," he continued. "I've even chosen to give up my motorcycles and stick with listening to K-LOVE on the radio while driving the speed limit. I love you Mauz. I love you @pogmuniz."

Frankie and Paige are still more or less newlyweds. The two eloped in October of 2019 but had their official wedding months later. "It was just five of us there," Frankie said to People about the elopement. "We hiked up Camelback Mountain at sunset and just got married! But we still wanted to have a wedding. And we planned on it being pretty small so we could have it at our house."

Even back then, Frankie had kids on his mind. "I'm so happy to be married," he said. "We are just enjoying it all. And we definitely want to have kids!" They didn't waste much time. In September, the couple announced that they were expecting. And they did it in a very charming way.

"I'm gonna be a dad!!!!" Frankie excitedly wrote in the caption. "I'm so excited for the next big adventure. I love @pogmuniz and our little one!!" In the video, the two showcase their in-person chemistry and have a little fun. It's a keepsake Mauz will have forever.

Paige also shared a few kind and sweet words about their new arrival. She even admitted that she wasn't a natural around kids, which is something important to say. Many women fear that they won't have the ability to care for a small baby with such a lack of experience.

"No words can express what it feels like to be a new mom. My entire life, I was terrified of children and having that responsibility to raise them into good human beings," she said. "Today, I am so proud of the fact that I have an ultra strong boobie hungry little monster that I get to call my own! Mauz Mosley Muniz was born on March 22, and weighed in at exactly 7lbs."

"He’s literally my dream boat," she continued. "Now, to get a handle on this whole breastfeeding thing… yiiiiikes. " She also added that Mauz rhymes with "pause," if you were wondering how it was pronounced. Throughout her pregnancy, she managed to capture some incredible shots that will someday be keepsakes.

Even weeks ago, Paige was lamenting the fact that her pregnancy was coming to an end. Pregnancy can be hard on your body, but there are certain joys throughout that many women miss later on. "I find myself constantly holding my belly like so – because you realize that in a really short time, you're going to miss that little professional boxer inside of you," she said in one post.

According to People, Paige has admitted that she had some difficulty with getting pregnant. She was under the impression that medically, it would be a struggle. "When we found out we were expecting, I think we were both in a state of disbelief," she said. "We knew that we wanted this, but we were told our chances weren't that great. The struggle of going to every doctor's appointment made me feel less and less like a woman."

Frankie and Paige seem like the real deal. Prior to Mauz's arrival, they also had a thriving business together — Outrageous Olive Oils and Vinegars in Scottsdale, Arizona. The two recently decided to sell the business, and with news of the pregnancy, it makes sense as to why. That said, the two seem to constantly be collaborating on new projects.

"I think we're lucky that we haven't really gotten the chance to be bored of being home or locked up because we're still always constantly working on things and doing things and trying to live the most fulfilling lives, even if it is from at home,” Frankie said to AZCentral.

Frankie is proud of Arizona, where he's lived for a majority of his life. "One thing that I loved about Arizona when I first moved here was that it still had a lot of that Western … vibe," he told the publication. "Like, you have some of the older Western cities and shops and restaurants and stuff like that. And, unfortunately, over the last couple years, they’ve been tearing a lot of those down and building apartment buildings or condos … I hope it doesn't grow too big to where you lose some of that charm."

It seems like he's pretty content in where Mauz will grow up. That said, there were times prior to Mauz's birth that they thought about living elsewhere, but nowhere else felt like home: "We're definitely staying in Arizona. We did contemplate potentially moving just because, for the first time in our lives, we could kind of do anything." But, in his own words, "it just has everything."
