Facts & Stories on YouTube tells the story of Bob, a waste management worker with a heart of gold.
Bob had been a waste management worker for years. He was living a happy life with his wife, Sarah, and their twin girls, Cara and Christy.
Things weren’t always as they seemed, though, as just when things were going smoothly, Sarah divulged to her husband that she had been having an affair for years and was leaving her family for another man. Sarah told Bob that she felt ashamed of his job and wanted a more lavish lifestyle that he could not provide.
Bob was shattered to learn about his wife’s extramarital activities, and he felt the need to ask Sarah if the twins were in fact his biological daughters. It was then that Sarah revealed they were another man’s children with whom she had an affair two years after she had married him. That man was deceased now, and she wanted Bob to keep the twins with him.
Soon after this all took place, Bob found a baby boy abandoned near one of the dumpsters he was about to empty trash from. He leaned in and found a note that read, “To whoever finds this blind baby, please take care of him.”
Bob’s heart immediately went out to this neglected little baby. He took him home to give him some milk and called children’s services. After a hospital visit where the baby's blindness was confirmed, Bob felt compelled to formally adopt him.
Seven years later, Bob had grown accustomed to reading bedtime stories to his son, Sam. For his birthday that year, Bob gifted his son with a braille storybook to help him learn to read.
