It's always amazing to watch our families grow as time goes on. Whether it's someone getting married and bringing in a whole slew of in-laws to family gatherings, or someone's having a baby… families are always changing.
When Denise Miller and her sisters went to visit their 89-year-old dad in the hospital one fine Father's Day afternoon, they had some very big news to disclose.
While it's unclear why Dad's in the hospital, he's still got a great sense of humor and a wonderful, radiant smile.
When the video starts, he's digging into some pie, enjoying the simple pleasures in life and happy to be spending time with his daughters. But when he's through raving about how yummy his dessert is, Denise hands him a blue envelope with a special message inside.
He reads through it one time, but doesn't quite catch the bigger point! He thinks that his daughters are just thanking him for being such a great dad and grandpa over the years. They all ask him to read the last sentence over a few more times… but when he finally understands what it means? The look on his face is truly priceless.
What a wonderful day for this growing family! This is one happy, lucky guy. I would have been laughing so hard if I were in this room!
