Hilaria Baldwin wouldn't trade her hectic mom life for anything.
The 37-year-old is now the mom of six kids, from an infant to a 7-year-old. It's a lot to take on, even with help, but she wouldn't have it any other way. She's cherishing the wonderful moments with all of her kids together.
It's particularly warming her heart to see her two youngest, 6-month-old Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas and infant María Lucía Victoria, spend the earliest moments of life with each other. Hilaria gave birth to Edu in September 2020. The family welcomed Lucía via surrogate just weeks ago.
In one of the latest moments Hilaria has shared, she marveled over having the two together for three weeks and how sweet it's been.
Hilaria Baldwin is already cherishing watching her youngest two children grow up together. She shared a sweet video of Edu and Lucía lying side by side.
"3 weeks of this bonding. I feel so grateful ✨✨…the waving, the little hand holding at the end and the baby sneeze Edu+Marilu," she captioned the video.
Hilaria shared another photo to her Instagram story recently where she is tandem breastfeeding the two. She jokingly compared herself to a golden retriever nursing a litter of puppies, before admitting that mama might have it a little harder than she does.
Hilaria and Alec shocked many people by welcoming their fifth and sixth children so close together. Many questioned why they would explore surrogacy while Hilaria was actively carrying a child.
"It's no one's business about a woman's right to choose how and when she expands her family," a source close to the family told People about that decision.
She joked about feeling like a cow from breastfeeding so much earlier this month. "Let me tell you something you might already know: breastfeeding two babies is no joke," she wrote over a selfie of her drinking sparkling water.
"I'm devouring any liquid I can get my hands on…"
Hilaria previously opened up about how meaningful Lucía's birth was for all the members of their family.
"The Baldwinitos craved so much to have a little sister," Hilaria wrote.
"There isn't a day that goes by where we don't ache for our daughter. When I found out our baby had died, I told our children that their sister was going to come, just not at that time. Nothing will ever replace her, but two wonderful souls have come into our lives, and we are humbled to know them."
"Our children were … braver than us … and they held out hope," Hilaria continued.
"To experience and accept life's ups and downs is challenging, but a reality that all of us have no choice but to receive and process. I have learned that often our children are wiser than we are and their wisdom has guided us."
"We are living each day, bonding, and grateful for all of the very special angels who helped bring Lucía into the world," she noted.
"María Lucía Victoria and Eduardo Pau Lucas: our babies who bring light into our lives—almost like twins, we love you so much."
