As a parent, you often find yourself making many promises to your children.
Some of them are very easy. If they finish all of their dinner, then they can have a snack of their choice after. Other promises are a little harder for the child to earn. Or at least, that is what the parent hopes when they make the promise.
One father might have bitten off more than he could chew when making a promise to his young daughter. But how can a parent know if their child can achieve a harder task?
This dad promised his 11-year-old daughter Chloe that if she got a hole-in-one on the golf course, he would get her a puppy! Obviously, Chloe quickly told her father, "Game on!" I would have done the same thing if I were given that opportunity.
Chloe didn't get her hole-in-one right away, but she was not discouraged at all. She set her mind to it, and you can see in the video below that all of her hard work paid off! Congrats to Chloe on showing her dad that she could win this and get her puppy.
