Kurt Russell Moved To Tears By Kate Hudson’s Beautiful Father’s Day Tribute: ‘Love You Pa’

Kate Hudson and stepdad Kurt Russell have a very special bond. Kurt has been such an important part of Kate's life, which is something the 43-year-old actress is always happy to talk about.

Kate just did so once again on Instagram, giving her "Pa" a special shout-out in honor of Father's Day 2022.

The post was so touching it had Kurt in tears.

The actress shared a beautiful throwback picture of the two. In it, a young Kate is snuggled up on her stepdad's chest. In the caption, she wrote: "Fun, adventurous, passionate, determined, honest, devoted, amazing father and the best head of hair in Los Angeles! Lucky us! Love you Pa! Happy Fathers Day."

The adorable snap clearly shows the special bond between Kate and Kurt. But it's also one that Kate has frequently spoken about. Kurt and Kate's mom, Goldie Hawn, have been life partners for almost 40 years, and he's been a famously hands-on father figure in Kate's life. Since Kate is estranged from her biological father, Kurt's role has been even more influential.

Kurt clearly knows what a special bond he and Kate have, but he was still completely touched by her post. While Kurt doesn't use Instagram, Goldie does. "Honey I showed this to daddy," Goldie replied to the post. "Here’s his message…"

Kurt wrote, “Birdie, mommy just showed me this picture, this perfect Father’s Day present. I’ve never seen it before. Wow… it’s a killer. Lotta water under the bridge… it’s kinda hard to see it though cause all that water seems to somehow have found its way into my eyes… thanks for making me the luckiest father in the world sweetheart."

The loving post seemed like the perfect Father's Day nod, and it definitely had Kurt weeping. The actor signed his loving response: "I love you, Pa."

But Kate wasn't the only one to give Kurt a shout-out. Goldie did the same, sharing a sweet picture of her and Kurt kissing. "How can I explain the gratitude and love I feel for the greatest father who has given us all so much in this life ," she wrote.
