Kate Middleton's brother is a father! James Middleton and his wife, Alizee Thevenet, have welcomed their first child, according to the news that broke on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the couple were seen pushing their new bundle of joy in a stroller while out on a walk. Neither the couple nor the Princess of Wales or sister Pippa Middleton have shared any details about the baby's name, sex, or date of birth.
The couple first shared news of the pregnancy in July, when James made a post on his Instagram. "We couldn’t be more excited … well [Mabel] might be ❤️," the post read, as he referenced their dog, Mabel, in the photo with his wife. "It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved [dog] Ella however we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family ❤️."
James is the last of his siblings to have children. Before having his own child, he was a proud uncle of six nieces and nephews: Three kids belonging to Kate, and the other three belonging to Pippa.

In a 2014 Good Morning America interview, he talked about wanting to be the “best uncle possible." And now, he'll be able to be the best dad possible.
"Congratulations to you both wish happiness and joy on your journey with your precious baby," someone commented under a video reporting the news.
