Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger Are Expecting Their Second Child

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are adding to their family.

The couple, who are parents to 16-month-old Lyla Maria, are reportedly expecting their second child, sources close to them have told People. Representatives for the couple have yet to confirm the news.

Chris is also dad to 9-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris. The growing family is no surprise to fans of the couple, who know that Chris has spoken out about wanting more kids.

"It's really beautiful," Chris told E! News about being a father of two.

"I think having a second child really emphasizes what was unique about your first child because when you have one kid, you just take for granted all their growth and development. You just assume all children are that way."

With so much time between his first two kids, Chris also spoke on how his parenting style has changed.

"I react maybe a little differently," he admitted.

"I don't roughhouse quite as much as I did. I kind of just want to cuddle both of them."

"The high common denominator is just kind of this unquenchable desire to want to be close to them, be next to them, to protect them and love them," he continued.

"It's the best."

It was during this interview that Chris discussed growing his family. "I would love to have more, as many as the man upstairs will provide," he continued.

"We'll do it. I'll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let's go."

For her birthday earlier this year, Chris praised Katherine as a "wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner," he wrote.

"I simply can't imagine how lost I'd be without you."

Katherine's mom, Maria Shriver, also took the occasion of her birthday to praise her daughter as a mom:

"You made me a mama, and now you are a mama and what a mama you are! Loving, nurturing, caring, kind — you are that kind of daughter as well!"
