Kelly Rizzo is grieving the loss of her husband, Bob Saget. It's hard to believe it's been three months since the star tragically died after an apparent head injury. Since then, Kelly has been taking opportunities to remember her late husband on social media.
On Saturday, Kelly shared a beautiful sentiment about her husband. In her Instagram stories, she shared a black-and-white photo of the comedian standing in the rain, holding an umbrella.
"I had the best rainy day friend," the grieving wife wrote. "Rainy days were our fave bc [because] we would watch our 'programs' while cuddling on the couch all day."
Kelly shared the photo after Bob's friend, comedian Jeffrey Ross, shared it originally. On Saturday, he posted the photo, along with two others of him and Bob.
Kelly is clearly missing her husband. She and Bob shared so much together. Just a few weeks ago, Kelly shared another cute throwback. "From one year ago exactly," she wrote. We had so much fun making these silly videos together. They make me so happy and so sad at the same time to relive them… but even if it’s painful it still puts a smile on my face, and I know that’s what he would want."
Bob Saget's untimely death shocked his fans, as well as everyone who knew him. The actor and comedian was just 65 when he was found dead in a Florida hotel room on January 9, 2022. The medical examiner in the case said Bob had likely died from blunt head trauma.
Since Bob's death, there has been an outpouring of support for his family, as well as kind words said about the actor by his friends and costars. If it wasn't clear when he was alive, it has truly become clear since his passing how kind a man he was. He was loved by so many.
After Bob's death, his family, including his wife and three daughters, filed a lawsuit against Orange County Sheriff John Mina and the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office in an effort to keep documents pertaining to Bob's death private. Mainly, they didn't want photos released that could be traumatizing to the family. They won a permanent injunction that bars the release of explicit photos taken as part of the investigation.
